Hi Guys, I have office 2010 and connecting to Sharepoint 2010.and Windows 7 64 bit The machine is a member of a enterprise domain and therefore is subject to group policy settings. One of the settings that is applied is access to the local hard disk has been disabled via windows explorer. This is done to stop data being lost. Profiles on these machines are also local because of network restrictions, we cannot apply roaming profiles. The issue we are seeing is when the client who does not have access to the local hard disk opens the "sharepoint sites" folder they receive the following error message: the operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system Aministrator" My questionis, Can we change the location of the "sharepoint sites" folder from the local profile to a re-directed folder (documents folder which in our case is re-directed to the user's home directory) Any help wpu;d be appreciated.
